About Our Name

Our name is a little unique. IMMD actually stands for "In Memory of My Dad". In August of 2002, Charles Wimpy, my father, unexpectedly passed-away after an unknown heart complication, just six months after a very successful open-heart surgery. We're not sure what happened, he had recovered superbly from his surgery. However, one night he simply went to sleep and never woke up. Actually, my dad was a strong Christian man, so we often say "he went to bed feeling good, and woke up feeling even better."

For most of my life, my father was a business owner, primarily in the auto mechanics industry. While in the process of starting this company, I thought it would be a good tribute to my father to name this business in his honor.
